The FA Cup Final takes place at the Wembley Stadium on Saturday and it is an all Manchester affair with English Premier League Champions, Manchester City playing against their great rivals, Manchester United. We take a look at the game from a betting angle.
MANCHESTER CITY
Manchester City have had few problems marching to the Final. They saw off fellow Premier League sides Chelsea and Arsenal in the 3rd and 4th Rounds, 4-0 and 1-0 respectively with both games taking place at home. They then beat Bristol City 3-0 on the road, Burnley 6-0 at home and in the semi-finals they saw off Sheffield United 3-0 at Wembley. Amazingly they scored 17 goals without conceding in their FA Cup campaign to date.
Manchester City wrapped up the English Premier League title beating Arsenal by 5 points and such was their dominance they were able to limp to the line with a draw and a loss in their last two League games.
MANCHESTER UNITED
Manchester United required penalties to beat Brighton in their FA Cup semi-final at Wembley, but prior to that all of their matches were at home and all of them finished 3-1 starting with Everton in Round 3, then Reading, West Ham and Fulham in the quarter-finals.
Manchester United finished 3rd in the English Premier League, a distant 14 points behind Manchester City, but they finished strong with 4 successive victories.
HEAD-TO-HEAD
These sides last met in the middle of January with Manchester United winning 2-1 at Old Trafford in the League, but Manchester City won the reverse fixture 6-3 at home back in October of 2022.

Manchester City 8/15
Draw 15/4
Manchester United 9/2
Other popular markets include over 2.5 goals which is trading at 6/10. With both teams to score, YES, currently on offer at 15/20.
Although Manchester City’s defense has been very stingy in this competition I do think that United can get amongst the goals, but at the same time I think they are going to come under big pressure on defense. It all points to a high scoring game for me and I am betting that we get 4 goals or more.
Suggested Bet: Over 3.5 goals at 15/10
I mentioned that Manchester United have won 4 of their 5 FA Cup matches by 3-1 margins and that is the score line I fancy here, but with Manchester City scoring the 3 goals.
Suggested Bet: Correct Score 3-1 at 10/1
There will be in-running betting on the game with plenty of markets on offer.
