TUESDAY
MALLORCA v BARCELONA – Click here to bet
Mallorca are currently 16th on the table with 5 points from their opening 6 matches. They went down 5-3 at Girona on the weekend and in their penultimate start they got their only victory of the season 1-0 at Celta de Vigo. They have only played 2 home matches this season taking one point and they have yet to score a goal in front of their own fans.
Barcelona have moved to top of the table with 5 wins and a draw in their opening 6 matches. They beat Celta de Vigo 3-2 at home on the weekend and have taken 7 points from a possible 9 on the road this season. 2 of the 3 Barcelona away games would have delivered profits for 2.5 goal backers.
Barcelona have won their last 3 away games against Mallorca, the last 2 of which have come with 1-0 score lines.
It is hard to look past a Barcelona win here, but at 11/20 it is a bit short for me to have a straight bet. I am going to back Barcelona to win by exactly 1 goal.
Suggested Bet: Handicap, Barcelona -1, the draw at 26/10

WEDNESDAY
Valencia v Real Sociedad – Click here to bet
Valencia are 6th on the log with 10 points from their opening 6 games. They drew 2-2 at Almeria on the weekend and prior to that beat Atlético Madrid 3-0 at home, a game where they started 5/2 underdogs. Overall at home this season they have taken 6 points from a possible 9.
Real Sociedad are 8th on the log with 9 points from their opening 6 matches. In their penultimate start they were away to Real Madrid where they lost 2-1. They have taken 2 points from a possible 9 on the road this season.
Valencia beat Real Sociedad 1-0 in this fixture last season with the reverse fixture finishing 1-1. Goals have been hard to come by when these sides have met with only 3 in total over the last 4 League matches between the sides.
Valencia are trading at 33/20, the draw at 85/40 and Real Sociedad are priced at 19/10 at the time of writing.
I was looking at under 2. 5 goals, but at 4/7 it is a bit short for my liking and instead I am going to back the home team to get the 3 points.
Suggested Bet: Valencia win a 33/20
