The Grade 1 World Sports Betting Cape Town Met will take place on Saturday, 28 January, at Kenilworth over 2,000 m.

Trained by Michelle Rix and Harold Crawford, he drew in the six box at Wednesday’s barrier draw, and there can be no excuses. Although he has not won since last year’s Met, he has finished close up in all his races since. His run behind Al Muthana in the King’s Plate makes him a massive contender again.
Three-year-old filly, Make It Snappy, has already had a magical career and although this is her biggest task so far, she could run loose carrying just 51.50kg under Keagan de Melo and is our main rival.
Justin Snaith’s, Jet Dark, who was runner-up here last year, is a top-class performer and won’t be far away again.
Vaughan Marshall’s grand performer, Linebacker, is our value bet in the race, and although he’s poorly drawn, he ran third in last year’s race and warmed up nicely in the King’s Plate last time. Making up the places?
