The FedEx Cup was decided two weekends ago at the Tour Championship and now the rest of the PGA Tour season will now be played out to see which players retain their card for 2025.
This week the players will head to California to take part in the Procore Championship. We will take a look at this week’s golf from a betting angle and share our suggested plays.
Course
This week’s event will be played at the Silverado Resort and Spa in Napa Valley, California at Silverado’s North Course. The course is a parkland layout that is majority flat with tree lined fairways. The greens are small and fast so accuracy from approach shots is going to be essential. The par 72 plays 7,123 yards and will test the players accuracy from tee to green.
The tournament was previously the Fortinet Championship from 2021 to 2023 and known as the Safeway Open in the years before that.

Wyndham Clark at 13.00
Clark has been on a solid run of form recently. He has finished in the top 15 in all 4 of his last tournaments. His last outing was at the Tour Championship where he took on the top 30 players on the PGA Tour and ended up finishing tied 8th. If he holds form he should be right there come Sunday.

Max Homa at 26.00
Homa has the best form at the Procore Championship of any player in the field. He won the tournament in 2021 and defended his title in 2022. 2023 saw yet another solid finish where he placed 7th after four days of golf. Homa will be looking to use this knowledge of winning at Silverado to get back on a good run of form and finish strongly in a season where he has battled to find his touch.

Brendon Todd at 41.00
Brendon Todd will be coming into this week with some confidence after finishing 6th at last years Procore and 9th the year before. He finished 22nd in his last tournament and 12th the week before that. Todd will be looking to take full advantage of the fact that a number of top players will be absent and will look to put his name high up on the leaderboard.
Brendon Todd top 10 finish at 4.60 is my main bet with a smaller stake on the win at 41.00
