The DP World Tour stays in Asia this week as we head to South Korea for the 2025 Genesis Championship. We will take a look at this week’s golf from a betting angle and offer up some suggested plays for your consideration.
The Course
Woo Jeong Hills Country Club provides the stage for this week’s tournament. At 7,367 yards (6,736 metres), the par-71 layout is extremely long and presents a formidable challenge. Built into rolling hills and dotted with water hazards, the course demands far more than just distance, it requires strategy, precision, and patience.
The greens are notoriously tricky, adding another layer of difficulty and putting a premium on approach play and putting touch. That said, long hitters should have a clear edge here. After last weekend, when players were often forced to hold back off the tee, this week’s setup will allow the big drivers to unleash their full power.

The Field
This week also marks the return of several home favourites looking to make their mark in front of local fans. Si Woo Kim and Hideki Matsuyama lead the betting markets, both trading at 11.00, while Sungjae Im is close behind at 15.00. With strong local support and plenty of motivation, the home contingent could play a major role in shaping the outcome of the championship.

Si Woo Kim 11.00
Hideki Matsuyama 11.00
Sungjae Im 15.00
Rasmus Neergaard-Petersen 15.00
Adma Scott 19.00
Thriston Lawrence – 26.00
The South African arrives in fine form, coming off a 3rd-place finish at the India Championship last weekend, following a solid 23rd-place finish the week prior. Lawrence has now put together back-to-back strong performances and looks well-suited to the demands of Woo Jeong Hills. With plenty of length off the tee, he has the power game needed to contend on such a long course.
Suggested bet: Thriston Lawrence each way at 26.00
Alex Fitzpatrick – 46.00
After a run of missed cuts, Alex Fitzpatrick has turned things around impressively. He posted a 9th-place finish at the Open de España two weeks ago and followed it up with a 3rd place in India last weekend. Known for his sharp short game and creativity around the greens, Fitzpatrick could gain a real edge this week on Woo Jeong Hills’ tricky putting surfaces.
Suggested bet: Alex Fitzpatrick each way at 46.00
Kim Min-kyu – 91.00
At long odds, Kim Min-kyu represents an intriguing outsider. While this is the first year the tournament will be staged at Woo Jeong Hills CC, Kim’s record at the venue is outstanding: two wins and a 4th place finish in his last three starts here. With proven course form, he has the potential to upset some of the bigger names in the field.
Suggested bet: Kim Min-kyu each way at 91.00
