The city that never sleeps will once again light up under the floodlights for one of the most visually spectacular races on the calendar.
We look at the race from a betting angle.
PREVIOUS RACE – Brazilian GP
Lando Norris had a perfect weekend at the Brazilian GP where he managed to win both the sprint and the race to gain maximum points and extend his lead in the Drivers Championship. Andrea Kimi Antonelli managed to put in a brilliant drive to keep Verstappen behind him and finish in second place while Verstappen only managed to finish in third. Oscar Piastri struggled yet again and finished in fifth place.

Track Guide – Las Vegas Street Circuit
The Las Vegas Grand Prix returned to the calendar in 2023, featuring a 3.8 mile (6.2 km) street circuit that snakes through the heart of the famous Strip. The event is run at night, with average air temperatures around 10–15 °C, making tyre and brake management crucial.
Circuit Facts
- Lap length: 6.201 km
- Race distance: 50 laps (310 km)
- Top speed: Up to 350 km/h
- DRS zones: 3
- Direction: Counter-clockwise
Layout & Challenges
- Long straights: The Strip’s two-kilometre blast encourages extreme low-downforce setups.
- Heavy braking: Drivers decelerate from over 330 km/h into 90-degree corners — brake cooling and stability are key.
- Low grip: Cold track temperatures and smooth asphalt make qualifying and early race laps treacherous.
- Street lighting glare: Visibility and tyre warm-up are frequent complaints, adding to the unpredictability.
- Safety cars: Tight barriers and long straights mean incidents often trigger neutralisations, reshaping strategies.
The combination of low temperatures, unpredictable grip, and high speeds creates conditions that can shuffle the order, making Las Vegas one of the hardest races to predict all season.
Las Vegas GP 2024
Last year’s race saw George Russell pull off a brilliant drive to win the race while his teammate Lewis Hamilton, who was still driving for Mercedes, finished in second place. Carlos Sainz, at that time a Ferrari driver, finished in third place. Verstappen was only able to finish in fifth while Norris and Piastri finished in sixth and seventh respectively.

VERDICT
Lando Norris enters Vegas in imperious form, winning consecutive races and consistently finishing either first or second over recent rounds. Confidence and momentum are key at this stage, and the McLaren looks adaptable enough to handle the Strip’s long straights and technical braking zones.
Suggested Bet: Lando Norris to win at 3.50.
Andrea Kimi Antonelli had a brilliant drive in Brazil as he fended off the veteran Verstappen in the last few laps to record his highest ever finish in an F1 race and at such a young age. Last year Mercedes were able to finish first and second showing that they were able to get their car set up perfect for the track. With Mercedes’ strong record here, Antonelli could again find himself in podium contention if the team nails its setup for the low-downforce street layout.
Suggested Bet: Kimi Antonelli podium finish at 3.00.
