F1 returns for the second weekend in a row as the grid heads to Bahrain for the Bahrain GP. Red Bull will be looking to continue their momentum from last week, while McLaren will aim to bounce back and make a statement. We look at this week’s race from a betting angle and offer up some suggested bets for consideration.

Max Verstappen delivered a brilliant final lap in qualifying to grab pole position ahead of both McLaren drivers. He followed that up with a composed race to take the win.
Lando Norris finished in second place, and Oscar Piastri rounded out the podium in third. Charles Leclerc came fourth, while George Russell finished fifth.
Championship Update
Lando Norris now leads the Drivers’ Championship by just one point over Max Verstappen. However, bookmakers still have Norris as firm favourite to win the title.

Bahrain Grand Prix 2024 Recap
Last year’s Bahrain GP opened the 2024 season with a dominant display by Red Bull. Max Verstappen finished first, followed by teammate Sergio Perez in second. Carlos Sainz (then with Ferrari) secured third place.

Verdict
