Pakistani and New Zealand were first up in the Super Eights, but unfortunately rain played a big part, and the match had to be abandoned without a ball being played.
They won the toss in their second Super Eights match against England, and they elected to bat first, posting a competitive total of 164/9 with Sahibzada Farhan top-scoring with 63 which included 7 fours and 2 sixes and Fakhar Zaman and Babar Azam both scored 25. Sri Lanka 2.20
Pakistan 1.67
SUGGESTED BETS:
Sri Lanka win at 12/10
Sri Lanka had opportunities to take control of both Super Eights games and will be disappointed that they failed to capitalize. I like them here though because Pakistan have to play for more than just the win and that means they will be taking chances which could well backfire.
Man of the Match Theekshana at 20.00
The mystery spinner has been in good form with 11 wickets at an average of just 15. Pakistan will have no choice but to go after him and that could lead to opportunities.
Pakistan 1st over, over 6.5 runs at 2.05
They have been conservative with their strategy in this tournament but they simply have to go from ball 1 and this looks a fair price.
