SUNRISERS EASTERN CAPE
The Sunrisers currently sit 3rd on the SA20 log, after winning 3 and losing 2 of their 5 games. Last time out they took on the Pretoria Capitals on Thursday at Centurion Park, where they won the toss and sent the Capitals in to bat first. The bowlers didn’t take long to take the first wicket and thereafter the wickets began to fall regularly, with the Sunrisers picking up 5 wickets inside the powerplay. Top bowler was Marco Jansen who took 3 wickets for 27 runs in his 3.3 overs.
The Sunrisers also struggled initially with bat in hand, losing 3 wickets in the powerplay and batting at a very slow rate, leaving the middle order batsmen with a lot of work to do. After picking up the run rate, the Sunrisers had the win in sight but with 4 runs needed off the last ball they were unable to reach the total, losing the match by 3 runs. Top batsman was Tristan Stubbs who scored 35 off 30 balls.

Sunrisers Eastern Cape 5/6
MI Cape Town 19/20
Suggested Bet: Ryan Rickelton to score a 50 – yes at 29/10
He has been in brilliant form this season and although he has had a couple of failures of late, I believe he will put in a good innings and further increase his lead as top run scorer in the tournament
Suggested Bet: Sunrisers Top Bowler, Marco Jansen at 23/10
Jansen has been a key wicket taker in this Sunrisers side and his attacking approach is proving a real handful for the opposition.
