On Saturday, the 20th of January, the Joburg Super Kings are set to face the Pretoria Capitals at Wanderers in Johannesburg. In this article, we will take a look at the betting for the match.

JOBURG SUPER KINGS
The last Super Kings match saw them facing the Paarl Royals, where they won the toss and chose to bat first. Their innings started off poorly, losing both Hendricks and du Plessis early on. Leus du Plooy, though, contributed significantly by putting in a standout performance with 71 runs. Despite his efforts, the rest of the batting order didn’t perform well, and the Joburg Super Kings were bowled out for a total of 134 runs in the last over.
Although the Super Kings bowlers managed to take a wicket in the second over, they couldn’t maintain the pressure, allowing the Paarl Royals to gain momentum. Consequently, the Paarl Royals comfortably chased down the 134 runs in the 15th over, with the Super Kings only managing to take three wickets. This ultimately resulted in the Super Kings’ third loss of the tournament, leaving them at the bottom of the table and rank outsiders at 12/1.
PRETORIA CAPITALS
In their most recent match, the Pretoria Capitals faced the Durban Super Kings, won the toss, and chose to bat first. They started strongly, only losing the first wicket at 75 runs, followed by an outstanding 101-run innings from Will Jacks. Colin Ingram also made a notable contribution, scoring 43 runs off 23 balls. These efforts led to the Royals posting a total of 204 runs in the 20 overs, losing nine wickets in the process.
The Capitals bowlers were able to build pressure and restrict the Super Giants’ run-scoring. Jacks, Parnell, and Viljoen each managed to take two wickets, contributing to a total of 7 wickets in the 20 overs. The Super Giants could only score a total of 187 runs in the innings, giving the Capitals their first win of the tournament and placing them in 5th position on the log at a price of 11/2 to win the tournament.
HEAD TO HEAD
These sides met twice last season with the Super Kings winning by 6 runs at the Wanderers and then in Pretoria it was the Capitals who won a low scoring affair by 6 wickets.
