In the Joburg Super Kings most recent match they faced MI Cape Town and won the toss, choosing to bowl first. The Super Kings had a challenging start to the game only managing to take the first wicket in the 15th over with MI Cape Town reaching a score of 200 runs by then. They later secured a few more wickets with Burger being the only player to take more than one resulting in MI Cape Town scoring 243 runs in the 20 overs.
The Super Kings were always in trouble in their innings with Du Plooy managing to pick up the pace slightly by scoring 48 runs off 24 balls. However, they couldn’t maintain the momentum and were eventually bowled out for 145 runs in the 18th over.
HEAD TO HEAD
The last time these two sides faced each other was at the Wanderers last year where the Super Kings secured a comfortable 8-wicket victory.
