Match 41 of the T20 World Cup takes place in Colombo on Saturday 21st February, and sees New Zealand playing Pakistan in the 1st of the Super Eights matches. We look at the match from a betting angle and offer up some bets for consideration.

New Zealand 1.71
Pakistan 2.15
SUGGESTED BETS:
Pakistan win at 2.15
The betting suggests a close match up but I would have priced this as a choice (even game) and at current prices I believe the value lies with an inconsistent but potentially brilliant Pakistan team against a Black Caps team I don’t feel is firing on all cylinders.
Usman Tariq Top Pakistan Wicket Taker at 5.00
Tariq is Pakistan’s top wicket taker in the tournament taking 8 wickets and having played only 3 matches. I am expecting the wickets to become more favorable to spin as the tournament progresses and the off spinner is bowling superbly.
Saim Ayub Top Match Batsman at 9.00
Ayub has failed to fire in this World Cup but the 23 year old left hander is pure quality and I reckon it is a matter of time before he plays a match altering innings.
