The Rajasthan Royals took on the Kolkata Knight Riders in their most recent match that took place in Eden Gardens. The Royals won the toss and elected to field first, and they put on pressure early on with a wicket. The bowlers then began to struggle to keep things tight and in the end the Knight Riders reached a strong total of 223/6. Top bowler was Avesh Khan who took 2 wickets for 35 runs in 4 overs.
The Royals started off fast with the bat in hand, however they lost 2 wickets in the powerplay. Rajasthan Royals 11/10
Mumbai Indians 15/20
Suggested Bet: Top Mumbai Indians Batsman – Rohit Sharma at 12/5
Sharma is a quality batsman who is currently the 5th highest run scorer in the tournament at an average of just under 50. He got a duck in the last match against the Royals and I am backing him to get redemption.
Suggested Bet: Top Rajasthan Royals Bowler – Trent Boult at 41/20
The last time these sides met, Boult picked up 3 wickets for 22 runs taking man of the match and while he hasn’t quite fired on all cylinders since I am expecting a big showing from the New Zealander.
