The IPL group stages have come to an end, and we are currently left with 4 teams who can win the 2024 competition. We will take a look at the eliminator between the Rajasthan Royals and the Royal Challengers Bengaluru that will take place on Wednesday in Ahmedabad.
The loser of this game will be eliminated and the winner will play the Sunrisers Hyderabad in Qualifier 2 on Friday.

RAJASTHAN ROYALS
The Rajasthan Royals finished in 3rd on the log, having won 8 games, lost 5 and 1 ending in a no contest. They started off the competition well, getting well up in terms of table points early on and setting the early pace. They have been on extremely poor form as of late, losing 4 of their last 5 games with 1 no contest and as a result missed out on Qualifier 1.
Riyan Parag has been the star of the batting show for the Royals, scoring a total of 527 runs in 14 matches with 48 fours to his name, he was well accompanied by Sanju Samson who ended on 504 runs in 14 matches.
Yuzvendra Chahal has been the Royals weapon with ball in hand, taking 17 wickets in 13 matches with top figures of 3/11 and he has been the top performer by a fair amount.
ROYAL CHALLENGERS BENGALURU
The Royal Challengers Bengaluru just managed to sneak into 4th place and enter the elimination match due to the difference in run rate between them and the Super Kings after both teams ended on the same points. The Challengers won 7 and lost 7 of their 14 matches but they really found their form in the end, winning their last 6 matches.
Top Challengers batsman was also top batsman of the group stages, and it is no other than Virat Kohli after putting up 708 runs in 14 innings and scoring 37 sixes across his games. South African Faf Du Plessis supported him on multiple occasions, and he is sitting on 421 runs after stepping to the crease 14 times.
Top bowler was Yash Dayal who took 15 wickets in 13 matches with top figures of 3/20.
HEAD-TO-HEAD
These sides have met once in this year’s tournament back in match 19 of the group stages where the Royals picked up a 6-wicket win. The match was played in Jaipur and the man of the match was Jos Buttler who scored 100 runs off 58 balls.
