The Punjab Kings finished 8th on the log last season and they will be captained by Shikhar Dhawan. They have a number of players that are capable of turning matches in their squad, but a lot of these aren’t in the best of form including South African, Rilee Rossouw and Englishman, Sam Curran. Much may depend on the fast bowling form of Kagiso Rabada and the all-round skills of Sikander Raza, well capable of winning matches with both bat and ball.
The Delhi Capitals finished 9th on the log last season and they will be captained by Rishabh Pant. They have a number of strong players in their line-up and I fancy this could be a team that do more than what the bookmakers expect of them. Aside from Manager, Ricky Ponting they have quality Australians, David Warner and Mitch Marsh in the line-up and look out also for South African, Tristan Stubbs who was in great form in the SA 20.
