The Kolkata Knight riders meet the Sunrisers Hyderabad in the IPL Final in Chennai on Sunday and we take a look at the game from a betting angle.
KOLKATA KNIGHT RIDERS
The Kolkata Knight Riders finished top of the table with 9 wins and 3 losses in their 12 games. That saw them straight into the Qualifier One where they were too strong for Sunrisers Hyderabad, winning by 8 wickets as they chased down a 160 for victory with more than 6 overs to spare.
Shreyas Iyer was the hero with the bat with an unbeaten 58 while Mitch Starc took 3 for 34 in his 4 overs with the ball. That win meant they went straight to the Final.
SUNRISERS HYDERABAD
The Sunrisers Hyderabad then had to play Qualifier Two against the Rajasthan Royals who had won the first Eliminator. The Royals won the toss and decided to field and the Sunrisers Hyderabad scored 175 for 9 off their 20 overs with Heinrich Klaasen the pick of the batsmen with 50 off 34.
The bowlers were on top form restricting the Rajasthan Royals to 139 for 7 with Shahbaz Ahmed getting 3 for 23 off his 4 overs and also securing the Player of the Match.

Suggested Bet: Player of the Match, Sunil Narine at 8/1
Narine is capable of swinging a match with both bat and ball and although he hasn’t quite performed to his top level in the last few games, he is the sort of player who I fancy can swing the Final and do enough to secure this award.
Suggested Bet: Batsman, Total Match Sixes, Travis Head over 1.5 at 18/10
Head hasn’t been quite on top form in his last couple of innings’ with a duck against the Punjab Kings, but he looked in decent shape last time out with 34 off 28 balls.
