The Kolkata Knight Riders last game was at home to the Punjab Kings where they were on the wrong side of the highest successful run chase in IPL history. Having lost the toss and been sent in to bat KKR scored what looked a match winning 261/6 with Phil Salt top bat with 75 off 37 balls. Narine scored 71 off 32 balls as the pair put on 138 for the 1st wicket in 10.2 overs.
Amazingly the Kings chased the runs down with 8 balls to spare and wickets in hand. Narine was comfortably the stand out bowler with 1-24 in 4 overs and he also effected the run out.
The Delhi Capitals are coming off a 10 run win at home to the Mumbai Indians. They lost the toss and were asked to bat scoring 257/4 in their 20 overs. Jake Fraser-McGurk went berserk at the top of the order scoring 84 off 27 balls.
The Mumbai Indians lost wickets at regular intervals but made a proper go of it eventually finishing on 247/9. Salam finished with 3-34 in 4 overs and Kumar with 3-59 in his 4 overs.
