MONDAY
AUSTRALIA v INDIA
The two top teams in the Super 8 Group 1, India and Australia will play their last group game at the Daren Sammy Cricket Ground in Gros Islet, Saint Lucia.
Australia won 1 and lost 1 of their 2 Super 8 matches. Their win came in their first match against Bangladesh which was decided by the DLS Method. Bangladesh had completed their 20 overs scoring 140/8 and Australia were on 100/2 in 11.2 overs when rain stopped play and Australia won by 28 runs. Pat Cummins was Player of the Match with his 3 wickets for 29 runs.
Their second match was against Afghanistan who batted first posting 148 for 6 in 20 overs, but Australia were bowled out for 127 in 19.2 overs leaving Afghanistan winner by by 21 runs. Glenn Maxwell with 59 off 41 balls including 6 fours and 3 sixes was top Australian batsman with little support from his fellow batsmen.
If Australia lose to India and Afghanistan beat Bangladesh the Australians are out of the tournament.
India, who are the favourites to win the Tournament, topped Super 8 Group 1 winning both their matches against Afghanistan and Bangladesh.
They batted first against Afghanistan and set a comfortable total of 181 for 8 in their 20 overs. Afghanistan were under pressure and were all out for 134 runs in their 20 overs leaving India to win by 47 runs. Suryakumar Yadav was player of the match with his 53 off 28 balls including 5 fours and 3 sixes. Jasprit Bumrah had excellent bowling figures of 3 wickets for 7 runs in his 4 overs at an economy rate of 1.75.
In their match against Bangladesh they won by 50 runs after posting 196 for 5 in their 20 overs and restricting Bangladesh to 146 for 8 in their 20 overs. Hardik Pandya with his 50 not out from 27 balls and 1 wicket for 32 in 3 overs was named Player of the Match. Bowler, Kuldeep Yadav had 3 wickets for 19 runs in his 4 overs.
India should be safely into the semi-finals as long as they avoid a massive defeat.

Australia 2.10
India 1.70
Suggested Bet: Top Indian Bowler Arshdeep Singh at 3.20
Bumrah is the standout out Indian bowler and has delivered some incredible figures but I reckon Australia might take a conservative approach against him and I am hoping they target Singh which would give him wicket taking opportunities.

The Amos Vale Stadium in Kingstown in Saint Vincent plays host to Afghanistan v Bangladesh in the last Super 8 match of the Tournament.
There are still plenty of permutations in this group and if Afghanistan win they will progress if India have beaten Australia. Bangladesh would also need Australia to lose but would need a massive win in this game.
Afghanistan won 1 and lost 1 of their 2 Super 8 matches with the loss coming in their first match which was against favourites, India. India had set a total of 181 in 20 overs, but Afghanistan were under pressure and could only manage to score 134 all out in their 20 overs.
Their win was against Australia where they won by 21 runs after posting a total of 148 for 6 in 20 overs and then bowling the Australians out for 127 in 19.2 overs. Afghanistan 1.55
Bangladesh 2.45
Suggested Bet: Top Afghanistan Bowler Gulbadin Naib at 5.60
This looks a big price for a man who was on fire against Australia taking 4 wickets and the Player of the Match award.
