SATURDAY
NETHERLANDS v SOUTH AFRICA
This game takes place at the Nassau County International Stadium in East Meadows, New York which was also the venue for South Africa’s victory over Sri Lanka in a low scoring encounter in their first match. Sri Lanka batted first scoring 77, South Africa knocked off the runs with just under 4 overs to spare and with 6 wickets in hand.
The Netherlands like South Africa won their opening game beating Nepal by 6 wickets in another low scoring affair. Nepal batted first and scored 106 and Netherlands chased the runs down with 6 wickets in hand and 8 balls to spare.
These sides met in the 2022 T20 World Cup where Netherlands stunned South Africa by 13 runs and the only other previous meeting was back in 2014 when South Africa won by 6 runs.

Netherlands 8/1
South Africa 1/11
Suggested Bet: Top Batsman, Quinton de Kock at 27/10
I wouldn’t say de Kock looked back to his best in the first game against Sri Lanka, but he certainly showed some signs of form and in what could be a low scoring game, you want someone who is guaranteed to get time at the crease in this market and that is what puts me off Heinrich Klaasen who is the 47/20 favourite.
Suggested Bet: Top Bowler, Anrich Nortje at 16/5
Nortje didn’t have a great IPL, but he is looking back to his best and picking up speed nicely and that speed should prove a real handful for the Netherlands batsmen.
AUSTRALIA v ENGLAND
This is the match of the World Cup so far and takes place at the Kensington Oval in Bridgetown, Barbados.
Both teams have officially had 1 match with Australia winning their encounter against Oman by 39 runs. They batted first and looked in a bit of trouble when they set Oman a 164 for 5 to win, but the bowling attack was too strong and Oman finished on 125 for 9 after their 20 overs.
England’s opening game against Scotland was rained out after Scotland had batted first and were 90 without loss after 10 overs.
England have won their last 3 T20’s against Australia, but it is the men in yellow who start favourite for this clash.

Australia 15/20
England 11/10
Suggested Bet: Australia win at 15/20
I am going to keep this pretty simple and back the Aussies who I think would have benefitted from their opening match. Both sides are filled with talent, but I just feel that Australia have more players in-form at the moment and can get the win.

SUNDAY
WEST INDIES v UGANDA
This game takes place at the Providence Stadium in Georgetown, Guyana and the West Indies will be playing their second match having had to work hard to beat Papua New Guinea in their opener. Papua New Guinea batted first and scored 136 for 8 which the West Indies chased down with 5 wickets in hand and only 1 over to spare.
They face a Ugandan side that were thumped by 125 runs against Afghanistan in their opener, but bounced back with a 3 wicket win over Papua New Guinea, chasing 78 to win the match with 10 balls and 3 wickets in hand.

West Indies 1/100
Uganda 40/1
The Top Bowler and Top Batsmen markets are popular in games like this, but I am going to have a play in the Player of the Match market like Roston Chase at 13/2. Chase is one of the few players capable of getting this with both bat and ball and in what could be a low scoring encounter I like having this option.
Suggested Bet: Player of the Match, Roston Chase at 13/2
