NAMIBIA v OMAN – Click here to bet
This match takes place at the Kensington Oval in Bridgetown, Barbados.
Namibia and Oman warmed up for this Tournament with five T20’s against each other in early April. Namibia won 3-2, winning the last two T20’s by 24 and 62 runs respectively. All games took place in Oman.
Namibia have not been in significant action since, but Oman have been busy beating a variety of smaller nations at home before a loss against the UAE, also at home, back in April.
BETTING
Namibia 8/15
Oman 16/10
I think Namibia have the edge in this one, but are a little bit too short for me to back and I am going to go with a Player of the Match bet in this one.
Suggested Bet: David Wiese, Player of the Match at 7/1
South Africans know what Wiese can do having seen him play domestically and he is a big hitter who can clear the rope on multiple occasions if he gets some time at the crease.

SRI LANKA v SOUTH AFRICA – Click here to bet
This match pits the top 2 teams in Group D against each other and takes place at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in East Meadow, New York.
Sri Lanka’s last International T20 action was back in March when they beat Bangladesh 2-1 in Bangladesh. They have won 6 and lost 4 of their last ten T20 Internationals.
South Africa are coming off a 3-0 loss to the West Indies in the West Indies in a series which was played towards the end of May. South Africa were missing a number of their T20 stars who were still involved in the IPL. They drew a two match series 1-1 with India in South Africa in December last year and also in 2023 were beaten 3-0 at home by Australia.
HEAD-TO-HEAD
South Africa have dominated Sri Lanka in recent times and have won the last seven T20 Internationals, although the sides haven’t met since 2021.
BETTING
Sri Lanka 33/20
South Africa 40/85
I am going to leave the match results alone and look at some of the Exotic Markets.
Suggested Bet: South Africa Top Batter, Aiden Markram at 28/10
Markram had a decent IPL and he has also started showing some good form in International cricket, I am expecting him to get in early and to be the rock around which the South African innings is built.
Suggested Bet: South African Batsman to score 100, YES, at 8/1
Then another speculative play on a South African Batsman to score 100 in the match. There are plenty at the top end of the order who can do it.
Remember there will be in-running betting on all of the matches and keep an eye on the WSB Blog for daily previews.
