USA v CANADA – Click here to bet
This game takes place at the Grand Prairie Stadium in Dallas, Texas and features the hosts, the United States against neighbours, Canada.
The USA’s last action was against Bangladesh in May and having beaten the Bangladeshis twice in a row at home, they lost by 10 wickets.
Canada’s last T20 International action was in the United States against their hosts and they lost all four T20’s.
Head-to-Head
These sides have met 7 times in T20 with the United States winning 5 and Canada 2.
BETTING
USA 9/20
Canada 37/20
I expect the USA to win this opening game and based on recent head-to-head’s between the sides it could be fairly comfortable.
I am going to back them to beat the pre-match handicap of -5.5 wickets or -18.5 runs.
Suggested Bet: Pre-Match Handicap, USA -5.5 wickets /-18.5 runs at 9/10

WEST INDIES v PAPUA NEW GUINEA – Click here to bet
This game is played at the Providence Stadium in Georgetown, Guyana and the West Indies are short-priced favourites to get their campaign off to a positive start. Their most recent T20 action was just a week ago when they beat South Africa 3-0 in a 3 match series with all 3 games played at Sabina Park. South Africa were missing many of their top players who were still involved in the IPL.
The last recorded fully-fledged T20 International I can find for Papua New Guinea was in July of 2022 against the United States in Bulawayo where they won by 5 runs.
BETTING
West Indies 1/50
Papua New Guinea 12/1
While I don’t claim to know much about this Papua New Guinea team, I am going to stick to the West Indies side for my betting interests.
Suggested Bet: West Indies Top Batter, Nicholas Pooran at 23/10
Pooran had an excellent IPL and if he gets in against this attack, the ball is going to be going over the ropes on multiple occasions.
My next bet is a speculative play that a West Indies Batsman scores 100 in the match. The problem with this bet is you really want him batting first as if they bowl first there is every chance they are chasing a low total and there won’t be a chance for a 100.
Suggested Bet: Team Batsman to Score 100 in the Match, West Indies, Yes at 6/1
Remember there will be in-running betting on all of the matches and keep an eye on the WSB Blog for daily previews.
