The West Indies most recent T20 fixtures were played at the World Cup this year. They had a decent run in the tournament, and they manged to win 5 of their 7 matches with their losses being against England and then against South Africa where they lost by 3 wickets and got knocked out of the Super 8.
They will be seeking revenge against the Proteas this Friday after what happened just a few months ago.
The Proteas last action in the T20 format was in this year’s T20 World Cup as well, where they were extremely successful, winning 8 out of their 9 matches and making it through the last 8, which led them to the final where they unfortunately lost to India by just 7 runs.
They will be looking to carry this solid form into this series and perform well even though they are playing away from home.
Head-To-Head
These sides have met 4 times this year, all on West Indies soil, starting off with the West Indies winning a 3-match series against the Proteas in May. The South African side however beat them at the World Cup roughly a month later.

West Indies – 1.75
South Africa – 2.05
Suggested Bet: South African Top Batter Rickleton at 27/10
This man has been itching for a chance to cement his place in the team and I expect him to get it here and to do just that.
Suggested Bet: South Africa to win the match at 2.05
I believe the Proteas will be better prepared for this series and although missed a few players they have a stronger squad that were hammered in the 3 match series earlier this year.
