The second T20 International between Pakistan and South Africa takes place on Friday the 31st of October at the Gaddafi Stadium. Following a dominant display in the opening match, the Proteas hold a 1–0 lead in the three-match series and will look to wrap up the series with another strong performance. We take a closer look at the second encounter from a betting angle below.
Pakistan vs South Africa – 1st T20 Summary
South Africa set the tone for the series with a commanding 55-run victory in the first T20 at Rawalpindi. Batting first, the visitors posted a formidable 194 for 9 from their 20 overs. Reeza Hendricks anchored the innings superbly with a composed 60 off 40 balls, while Tony de Zorzi added an electric 33 from just 16 deliveries. George Linde provided the late fireworks with a brisk 36 from 22, taking the Proteas close to the 200 mark.
For Pakistan, Mohammad Nawaz was the standout performer with the ball, returning excellent figures of 3 for 26 in his four overs, while Saim Ayub chipped in with two wickets for 31 runs. Unfortunately, their efforts couldn’t contain a relentless South African top order that maintained a scoring rate close to ten runs per over.
In response, Pakistan’s batting faltered under scoreboard pressure. Saim Ayub top-scored with a spirited 37 from 28 balls, while Mohammad Nawaz contributed 36 from 20, but the rest of the lineup struggled to cope with South Africa’s disciplined and varied attack.
Corbin Bosch was the star with the ball, claiming 4 wickets for just 14 runs in his four over spell and he was well supported by George Linde who took 3 for 31. Pakistan were eventually dismissed for 139 in 19th over, handing South Africa a comfortable victory.
Linde was named Player of the Match for his impactful all-round performance.

SUGGESTED BETS
Top Pakistan Batter – Babar Azam @ 3.40
Despite a quiet showing in the first match, Babar Azam’s class and experience make him the standout pick to anchor Pakistan’s innings. He has the ability to weather the early storm, build steadily, and ultimately post the kind of score that sees him finish as his side’s leading run-scorer.
Top Bowler – Corbin Bosch at approx. 5.75 (market still to be priced up)
Bosch was outstanding in the opening T20I, taking 4/14 with a mix of pace, control, and clever variations. On similar surfaces, his skill in exploiting early movement and executing at the death makes him a strong candidate to top the wicket charts for South Africa again. He looks a value pick to shine on Friday.
