New Zealand take on Sri Lanka in Bengaluru on Thursday and we look at the game from a betting angle.
India shortened into 9/10 favourites to win the Cricket World Cup with Australia now 7/2 and South Africa 4/1. The 4th place on the log is still up for grabs and New Zealand are 10/1 to win the cup.

NEW ZEALAND
New Zealand are currently 4th on the log on 8 points from their 8 matches and level on points with Pakistan and Afghanistan, but ahead of them on net run rate, both sides have 1 game left to play.
New Zealand’s last game was against Pakistan at this ground and Pakistan won the toss and elected to field. The Black Caps got off to a decent start before kicking on and scoring 401 for 6 in their 50 overs. Ravindra got another century scoring 108 off just 94 balls and Kane Williamson fell just short of 3 figures getting 95 off 79 balls. Pakistan were going well in response at 200/1 when the rain came and Pakistan won by 21 runs on the DLS method. Tim Southee was the pick of the bowlers with 1-27 in 5 overs.
SRI LANKA
Sri Lanka have had a disappointing tournament and are out of contention. They play their final match and currently sit on 4 points with 2 wins and 6 defeats.
Their last game was against Bangladesh where they lost the toss and were sent in to bat. They ended up on 279 all out in the 50th over with Asalanka soring 108 at just over a run a ball and Mathews being controversially timed out.
They picked up an early Bangladesh wicket but the chase was always under control and Bangladesh reached the target with almost 9 overs to spare and 3 wickets in hand.
Theekshana and Mathews each picked up 2 wickets in the losing cause.

New Zealand 1/4
Sri Lanka 33/10
HEAD-TO-HEAD
New Zealand have won their last 7 head to heads against Sri Lanka including a 2-0 series win at home earlier this year.
Suggested Bet: Top New Zealand batter Ravindra at 5/2
He has been excellent in this World Cup and I am looking for him to lead the New Zealand charge to the semifinals.
Suggested Bet: Kusal Mendis to score a 50 at 17/10
He has not had a great World Cup but is a class act and I think he shows that lass in this final match.
