India and South Africa meet in the second of five T20 Internationals at the New Chandigarh Stadium in Mullanpur on Thursday December the 11th.
South Africa will be desperate to bounce back after a heavy defeat in the 1st T20 and we take a look at the match-up from a betting angle.
1st T20 REVIEW
The 1st T20 took place in Cuttack on Monday where South Africa won the toss and elected to field. Things started promisingly for the South Africans who grabbed the early wickets to have India at 17 for 2 in the third over and wickets fell fairly regularly throughout the innings, but India managed to keep up a strong run rate. They ended up on a 175 for 6 in their 20 overs with Hardik Pandya scoring a quick 59 off 28 balls, including six 4’s and four 6’s.
For the South Africans, Lungi Ngidi was the destroyer-in-chief with 3 for 31 off his four overs and Lutho Sipamla also picked up 2 wickets.
South Africa’s response got off to the worst possible start, when Quinton de Kock (Top Run Scorer pick) went for a duck and although there was some resistance from Dewald Brevis who top scored with 22 off 14 balls, wickets tumbled and South Africa were bundled out for 74 runs in just 12.3 overs.
Four Indian bowlers picked up 2 wickets apiece and the most economical was Axar Patel with 2 for 7 in his two overs.

India 1.40
South Africa 3.00
The ODI series was hard fought with India winning the decider to take it 2-1 and South Africa have a habit, in recent times, of bouncing back strongly from heavy defeats and I am going to back them to win the match and level the series.
BET: South Africa win at 3.00.
There are plenty of different markets for punters to get involved in and below are a couple of my fancies which will help keep interest high throughout the game.
BET: South Africa Top Wicket Taker, Lungi Ngidi at 4.50.
Ngidi is one of those bowlers that sometimes goes for a few, but tends to pick up wickets and that is what we need in this market. He looked in good form on Monday and I am backing him to repeat his top wicket haul.
BET: India Top Batsman, Abhishek Sharma at 4.00
Sharma looked good in his brief stay at the crease in the 1st T20, scoring 17 off 12 balls at the top of the order. In this short form of the game, you want to have someone who is going to get time at the crease and Sharma looks well capable of going big and anchoring the innings.
