Tournament favourites India play their 1st match of the T20 World Cup when they take on Ireland in a Group A clash at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in East Meadow, New York on Wednesday.
India are 26/10 to win the tournament, please note outright betting is suspended while matches are in play.

INDIA
India go in search of their 1st T20 World Cup since they won on South African soil in 2007. They have a squad filled with in form players who are coming out of the IPL and as usual there are great expectations amongst the Indian fans.
They were last in T20 action back in January when they beat Afghanistan 3-0 in a home series and at the end of 2023 they drew 1-1 in South Africa.
IRELAND
Ireland have played 25 T20 World Cup matches winning just 7 and their best performance was making the Super 8’s back in 2009.
They were active in May winning twice away to the Netherlands and also beating Scotland in the Netherlands and they lost a 3 match series 2-1 at home to Pakistan.

He was magnificent in the IPL and I suspect these Irish batsman are going to find him too tough to handle.
Suggested Bet: Ireland to lose a wicket in the 2nd over YES at 5/2
This is a bet I have never taken and it certainly is speculative but should make the 2nd over of the Irish innings a lot of fun.
