3rd TEST MATCH
The third test match was held in Brisbane startng on the 14th of December with India winning the toss and sending Australia in to bat. The Indian bowling attack applied pressure from the get-go, picking up some important wickets early on and leaving Australia on 75 runs for 3 wickets after 33 overs of play.
Australia then stabilised with some big partnerships from the batsmen in the middle order and although wickets fell intermitantly, they reached a respectable total of 445 runs all out.
Top batsman was Travis Head who tore apart the bowling attack scoring 152 runs off 160 deliveries. On the Indian side, Jasprit Bumrah was onc again the star with ball in hand picking up 6 wickets for 76 runs in his 28 over spell.
India were in early trouble, with wickets crumbling left, right and centre, which resulted in them being on just 74 runs in the 23rd over, when they were already 5 wickets down.
They then managed to get some small partnerships going, but they were unable to hold the firing Australian bowlers out for long and with wickets dropping frequently and they reached a total of 260 runs all out.
Top performer with bat in hand was opener KL Rahul who scored 84 runs in 139 balls. For Australia it was skipper Pat Cummins who earned top bowling figures, taking 4 wickets for 81 runs in 22 overs.
Australia took to the crease for the second time in an attempt to increase their lead, however they struggled to hold onto their wickets, losing batsmen rapidly and eventually they declared on a total of 89/7.
Pat Cummins topped the batting with 22 runs off 10 balls and Jasprit Bumrah who has been on incredible form took the most wickets once again with 3 dismissals for 18 runs in his 6 overs bowled.
The Indian team then picked up the bat for the final time for a 274-run chase but unfortunately after only 13 balls bowled the match was called off due to rain, with India just 8 runs closer to the target.

Australia 1.60
Draw 12.50
India 2.75
Suggested Bet: Top Indian Bowler (1st Innings) – Jasprit Bumrah at 2.15
He has been levels above the rest of the line-up and proved he is India’s top bowler over and over again, delivering healthy profits for this blog. We will follow him until beaten.
Suggested Bet: Player to hit the Most Four’s – Travis Head at 3.50
He was superb in Brisbane and he seems to be the biggest threat for the Indian bowling line-up, I am backing him to get going again, dealing as he loves to in boundaries.
