AFGHANISTAN
Afghanistan sit 6th on the log after winning 3 and losing 3 of their 6 matches played and they still have an outside chance of qualifying for the semifinals.
They took on Sri Lanka in their most recent match on Monday in Pune where Afghanistan won the toss and chose to field first. Afghanistan took their first wicket after just 22 runs had been scored. The bowlers kept the pressure on getting Sri Lanka all out for 241 runs in the 50th over. The top bowler was Fazalhaq Farooqi with 4 wickets for 34 runs in his 10 over spell.
Afghanistan lost an early wicket in reply, with Gurbaz leaving the pitch with a duck, after just 4 balls in the innings. They then built a decent partnership before the next wicket dropped with 73 runs scored in the 16th over. For the rest of the innings, only 1 more wicket fell and Afghanistan cruised to victory by 7 wickets. Best performing Batsman was Azmatullah Omarzai who scored 73 runs not out off 63 balls.
NETHERLANDS
Netherlands are currently in 8th place on the rankings after winning 2 of their 6 matches so far.
The Netherlands faced Bangladesh in their most recent match, on Saturday in Kolkata. The Netherlands won the toss and opted to bat first. They had a shaky start, losing two early wickets with only 4 runs on the board. They managed to consolidate before another mini collapse eventually reaching a final score of 229 runs after 50 overs. Scott Edwards was the standout performer, scoring a steady 68 runs from 89 balls.
The Netherlands team was fired up after dismissing several key Bangladesh batsmen early in the chase. The bowlers maintained a tight grip on the match and they bowled Bangladesh out for just 142 runs, securing victory by a margin of 87 runs. Paul Van Meekeren was the standout bowler for the Netherlands, claiming 4 wickets while conceding just 23 runs in his 7.2 overs.

Afghanistan (9/4)
Netherlands (4/11)
HEAD-TO-HEAD
These two teams met in a 3-match series in Qatar last year, where Afghanistan won all 3 games.
Suggested Bet: Afghanistan top bowler- Fazalhaq Farooqi at 2/1
Farooqi had a brilliant game against Sri Lanka, contributing to the dominant win with 4 wickets, I am backing him to hold form.
Suggested Bet: Netherlands Total Sixes under 3.5 at 1/1
Netherlands have battled to hit sixes in the competition so far and they do not have many big-hitting batsmen but rather players who accumulate runs. I think they will battle to clear the ropes against this Afghanistan attack.
