England will be looking to wrap up the 4 match T20 Series when they take a 2-0 lead into the 3rd T20 in Birmingham against New Zealand on Sunday. We take a look at the match from a betting angle.
England have now improved their record at home against New Zealand to 4-1 (with 1 no result) after winning the first and second T20’s.
At the Riverside ground they chased down the target required with 7 wickets in hand and at Old Trafford in the 2nd T20 they won the toss and elected to bat first scoring a 198 for 4 in their 20 overs.
Jonny Bairstow was not out with 86 at a strike rate of 143, Harry Brook put in another impressive performance with 67 at a strike rate of 186. Ish Sodhi was the top New Zealand bowler with 2 for 44 off his 4 overs although in terms of economy rate, Adam Milne put in a good spell with no wickets for 23 runs off his 4 overs.
New Zealand were soon in trouble losing the wickets of Conway and Allen early and although Tim Southee steadied things with his 39 at a strike rate of 125 the chase was never on and they were bowled out for 103 in just under 14 overs. Gus Atkinson picked up 4 for 20 in 2.5 overs for the English and Adil Rashid was also impressive with his 2 for 18 in 3 overs.
England are now 1/10 to wrap up the Series with the draw in the series on offer at 7/1. You can get 21/20 England to get the 4-0 clean sweep.

England 4/10
New Zealand 2/1
Suggested Bet: England Top Batter, Will Jacks at 3/1
Jacks threatened to get going in the 2nd T20 and I am hoping that this time round he can kick on and show some of that Betway T20 form.
Suggested Bet: Top New Zealand Bowler, Adam Milne at 12/5
Milne was very unlucky not to pick up wickets in the 2nd T20 where he was certainly the pick of the bowlers for me. If he could put in a similar spell and get a bit of luck run his way I like his chances of being the top wicket taker in the team.
