The Sunrisers Eastern Cape are top of the table at the time of writing with two wins in their opening two games and in both cases they have picked up bonus points. They opened with a 137 run mauling of the Paarl Royals in Paarl and in Match 5 they won the toss and elected to bat against the Pretoria Capitals on home soil. The Sunrisers scored 188 for 6 off their 20 overs with Quinton de Kock the star off the bat with 77 off 47 balls. The Pretoria Capitals looked like making a game of it, but a middle order collapse saw them bowled out for 140. Adam Milne was the star of the Sunrisers bowlers with 4 for 25 in his 4 overs.
The Paarl Royals only match to-date was at home against the Sunrisers where they lost the toss and were asked to field. The Sunrisers scored 186 for 4, Ottniel Baartman was Top Bowler with 2 for 40 in his 4 overs. The Paarl Royals chase never got going and they were bowled out for 49, the lowest score ever in the T20 Tournament. For what it is worth, Asa Tribe top scored with 14 off 10 balls.

Sunrisers Eastern Cape 1.57
Paarl Royals 2.45
Verdict
I am not going to get involved in the outright markets up front, although it is hard to argue against a SEC victory and the 1.57 on offer is probably a fair price. I will look to some of the Exotic Markets for my betting interests.
BET: Sunrisers Eastern Cape, Top Wicket Taker, Tharindu Ratnayake at 5.50
Ratnayake may not have got the most wickets in the last match, but he was superb with 2 for 15 off his 4 overs. He is going to be a handful for batsmen all Tournament and it is a matter of time before he picks up a big wicket haul.
BET: Lhuan-dre Pretorius under 20.5 runs at 1.87
Pretorius was a revelation last season, but he failed in the first game and I have a feeling that it is going to be a tough season for him and will be looking to oppose him until proven wrong.
BET: Player of the Match, Marco Jansen at 12.00
Just a small interest on this one as Marco Jansen has looked in decent form without really firing. He can deliver with both bat and ball and I am hoping for a big match for last season’s stand out player.
