PRETORIA CAPITALS
The Pretoria Capitals first match was in Durban against the Super Giants on Friday where having got themselves into a winning position they ended up falling 2 runs short of chasing the 209 for 4 set by the Super Giants. They were desperate to reverse the form against the Super Giants in Centurion on Sunday, but unfortunately rain meant there wasn’t a ball bowled.
SUNRISERS EASTERN CAPE
The two times defending Champions, the Sunrisers Eastern Cape are under big pressure early in the campaign having lost both their opening games. They went down by 97 runs to MI Cape Town in Gqeberha in their opener and on Saturday they were away to the Paarl Royals at the Boland Park ground.
Sunrisers Eastern Cape won the toss and chose to bat scoring what looked a challenging 175 for 5 with Aiden Markram top scorer with 82 off 49 balls. The Royals came out firing and they made short work of the chase, notching up the winning runs with 8 balls to spare and 9 wickets in hand. Marco Jansen was the only Sunrisers bowler to get a wicket.

Pretoria Capitals 5/6
Sunrisers Eastern Cape 21/20
There has been plenty of rain around the Johannesburg and Pretoria areas this week and with more forecast, I am just hoping that we get a full match. This is a crucial game for both sides and I am not going to have anything on the match result at this stage although will be on the lookout for in-running options.
There are plenty of other betting markets to get involved in though. First up, I am going to bet that we get 10 wides or more in the match. My hope here is that the overcast conditions remain and with the moisture in the air controlling the ball it will be tougher than usual for the bowlers.
BET: Total Wides over 9.5 at 21/20
Aiden Markram returns to a ground he knows only too well from his years at the Titans and he looked in excellent form down in Paarl. I am going to back him to be the top Sunrisers Eastern Cape Batsman on the day.
BET: Top Sunrisers Eastern Cape Batsman, Aiden Markram at 51/20
