PAARL ROYALS v MI CAPE TOWN
The Paarl Royals won their opening match at home against the Pretoria Capitals and they were last in action against MI Cape Town in Match 6 which took place on Monday.
MI Cape Town won the toss and chose to bat, scoring a respectable 172 for 7 in their 20 overs. Reeza Hendricks finally got his tournament going with 59 off 37 balls. For the Royals it was Dayyaan Galiem who was the top bowler with 3 for 24 in his 4 overs.
The Paarl Royals started quickly with the first wicket going down at the start of the 4th over with 38 runs on the board. Once both openers were dismissed the wickets started to tumble and in the end the Paarl Royals could only reach 139 for 9 in their 20 overs, a loss of 33 runs. For the Royals, Mujeeb Ur Rahman top scored at the back of the innings with 34 off 21 balls. Top bowler for MI Cape Town was George Linde with 3 for 15 off 4 overs. Although the spell that changed the match no doubt belonged to Kagiso Rabada and he took both openers out when he came on.

Paarl Royals 5/4
MI Cape Town 13/20
I really like what I have seen of this MI Cape Town team and they appear to have every base covered. At 13/20 they are a bit short for my pocket and I am going to look elsewhere for a betting interest.
George Linde is performing well with both bat and ball, although he failed with the former in the last match. He is the type of bowler that batsmen go after and I like his chances of doubling up as Mi Cape Town top bowler.
BET: Top MI Cape Town Bowler, George Linde at 79/20
Lhuan-dre-Pretorius has certain made a huge impact on this competition and the way he batted at Boland Park in the first match against Pretoria Capitals I can’t resist the 7/2 that he is the Paarl Royals top batter.
BET: Lhuan-dre Pretorius, Top Paarl Royals Batter at 7/2
The total sixes line for the match is 12.5 and although we had 11 in the first match played here, they were virtually all off the bat of Lhuan-dre Pretorius, but based on past years I would have to say that going under 12.5 points is the play.
Total Sixes Under 12.5 at 17/20
