SA20 Match 8 Preview
MI Cape Town were well beaten at Newlands in their opener, going down by 15 runs to the Durban Super Giants in a high scoring encounter. They then faced the same opposition in Durban in Match 4, but unfortunately only 4 overs were played before the game was abandoned due to poor weather. Their star for the bat in Match 1 was Ryan Rickelton, who nearly pulled off a miraculous chase, scoring 113 runs off 63 balls while George Linde was their top bowler with 2 for 46 off his 4 overs.
The Pretoria Capitals first match was at home to the Joburg Super Kings and they looked well in it when they restricted their opponents to 168 for 6, but they failed to chase it down and the Super Kings won by 22 runs. Bryce Parsons was the Capitals star with the bat with 41 off 30 and Tymal Mills got 2 for 17 off his 4 overs.
The team was then in action in Gqeberha on Monday where they lost the toss and were asked to field. They restricted the Sunrisers Eastern Cape to 188 for 6 in their 20 overs and at one point looked well on to chase it down, but then collapsed and were bowled out for 140. Shai Hope scored a quick-fire 36 off 19 balls at the top of the order and Tymal Mills was once again the star bowler with 2 for 31 off his 4 overs.
The Capitals have now lost both their opening games and are in desperate need of a victory.

Pretoria Capitals 2.45
Verdict
BET: Pretoria Capitals Win at 2.45
I still feel MI Cape Town have been over-estimated by the bookmakers, having lost a number of key players in my opinion. The Pretoria Capitals haven’t fired to date but I think there could be some value in the 2.45.
BET: Pretoria Capitals, Top Wicket Taker Tymal Mills at 4.00
Mills has been the pick of the bowlers for the Capitals in the first two innings and I am happy to bet on that run continuing.
BET: Pretoria Capitals, Top First Innings Batsman, Dewald Brevis at 3.75
Dewald Brevis has failed to fire despite showing signs of what he is capable of and hopefully the return to Newlands will spark a big innings.
