MI CAPE TOWN
MI Cape Town currently sit 2nd on the log after 4 matches with 2 wins and 2 losses.
Their last game was away to the Paarl Royals where they lost the toss and were asked to bat.
MI Cape Town scored 158 for 4 off their 20 overs with Rassie van der Dussen the only batsman to get going, scoring 91 not out off 64 balls.
A couple of dropped catches early in the Paarl Royals innings cost MI Cape Town, who were beaten by 6 wickets with 1 over to spare. Rashid Kahn was the pick of the bowlers with 1 for 22 off his 4 overs.
JOBURG SUPER KINGS
The Joburg Super Kings were coming off a 28 run away win in Durban when they hosted the Pretoria Capitals on Thursday night.
Faf du Plessis won his third successive toss and sent the Capitals into bat, restricting them to 138 for 8. Donovan Ferreira, who bowled the first over took 2 for 17 off his 3 overs and the spinners generally dominated.
Unfortunately the rain came down and no further play was possible with the teams splitting the points.

MI Cape Town 5/6
Joburg Super Kings 21/20
The betting looks about right in this game and, if pushed, I would have a bet on MI Cape Town, but will rather wait to look for in-running options. There are plenty of other markets available pre-game.
BET: Dewald Brevis Total Runs over 16.5 at 17/20
Brevis has looked good in this Tournament, but I have been confused about the way he has been used by MI Cape Town and to me though they are bringing him in far too late. I am expecting that to change and for him to get pushed up the order and if so he will have an excellent chance of beating this line.
BET: Top Bowler, Trent Boult at 7/2
Trent Boult has looked good, although hasn’t had quite the impact I expected but I think that can change very soon and I am going to back him to be top bowler in the game. He gets plenty of opportunities to take wickets at the start of the innings and also when he bowls at the death.
BET: Any player to score 100, YES, at 13/2
Hundreds have been hard to come by in this Tournament and this is a bit of a speculative play, but If you think that on a tougher Paarl track, Rassie van der Dussen managed to get into the 90’s, we can hopefully get a someone into 3 figures here.
