DURBAN SUPER GIANTS
The Durban Super Giants are currently 5th on the log on 6 points after 3 matches. They opened with a 2-run home win over the Pretoria Capitals and that was followed by a no-result also against the Capitals.
Their last game was against the Joburg Super Kings in Durban where the Joburg Super Kings won the toss and decided to bat.
The Kings scored 169 for 7 off 20 overs with Subrayen the pick of the bowlers with 2 for 24 off his 4 overs.
The Durban Super Giants would have expected to chase the 170 down for victory but were bowled out in 18 overs for 141.
Quinton de Kock was the star performer with the bat scoring 55 off 45 balls.
SUNRISERS EASTERN CAPE
Two times defending champions, the Sunrisers have had a terrible start to the 2025 campaign. They have lost all three of their matches starting with a 97 runs defeat to MI Cape Town in Gqeberha which was followed by a 9 wickets loss to the Paarl Royals at Boland Park.
Their last game took place earlier in the week, away to the Pretoria Capitals where they lost the toss and were sent into bat.
They were bowled out for just a 113 with Marco Jansen the only real contributor with 51 off 35 balls.
The Capitals knocked off the runs with 4 overs to spare and 6 wickets in hand.
Richard Gleeson was the top Sunrisers bowler with 2 for 31 in his 3 overs.

Durban Super Giants 7/10
Sunrisers Eastern Cape 23/20
As poor as the Sunrisers Eastern Cape have been they still have plenty of star performers in the side and at 23/20 there may just be some value in backing them.
I am going to leave the match result for now although may get involved with in-running options.
