Catalan MotoGP Betting Preview 2025
MotoGP heads to Spain this weekend for the Catalan Grand Prix at the famous Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. This track has been part of the calendar since 1992 and is known for its long straights, fast corners and heavy braking zones, which always produce close racing and plenty of overtaking. The warm Mediterranean conditions also make tyre wear an important factor, which can shake up race strategies.

Marc Márquez continued his incredible run of form by taking his seventh straight win. Pedro Acosta claimed second place while Marco Bezzecchi rounded out the podium in third. Jorge Martin delivered a solid fourth-place finish and South Africa’s Brad Binder ended the race in seventh.

LAST YEARS RACE
In last year’s Catalan GP, Francesco Bagnaia delivered a memorable victory, beating local favourites Jorge Martin and Marc Márquez in their home race. Martin came in second while Márquez had to settle for third. Brad Binder managed a top-ten finish, crossing the line in eighth.
VERDICT
Marc Márquez looks almost unstoppable at the moment, which is why the bookmakers have him priced so short at 1.35. However, the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya has often thrown up surprises in the past, and tyre management could play a big role in Sunday’s outcome. Bezzecchi has been consistent and was back on the podium last weekend. If Márquez makes even a small mistake, Bezzecchi has the speed and form to take advantage.
