Understanding Cash Out

You can view your pending bets eligible for cash out under the My Bets section on your Bet Slip.

Cash-out will show in red with a locked symbol When it is unavailable for one of the above reasons.

When a bet is eligible for cash out, it will show in green.

Cashing out is a two-click process; after clicking on the green “cash out” button, it will ask you to confirm.

A successful cash-out will show at the top of the “my bets” section

You can see the status of results per leg denoted by the colour of the white circles (the below shows a situation where Leg 1 and 3 are winning)

Cash Out will cancel your original ticket and credit you with a new one for the Cash Out.

Cashed-out bets will show on your statement with reference to the original ticket and will show what leg the bet was cashed out on:

WSB reserves the right to remove all or part of the Cash Out feature for any customer or group of customers where there is reasonable grounds to believe that the customer or group is misusing Cash Out by frequently using the feature to take advantage of pre-event price movement and closing their bets through the Cash Out feature before the event has started.

We always try to settle bets as quickly as possible. For some events, official confirmation of the result is necessary before settlement takes place, which may cause a slight delay.

We want you to gamble safely. If you feel like your gambling is becoming an issue – please visit our Responsible Gambling section of your Betting Account to take the necessary steps to assist in managing your gambling limits.

You can make a Withdrawal when logged into your account by simply going to My Account > Withdrawals

The clearance time of a withdrawal from your WSB account will vary depending on your payment method. For example, a withdrawal made to a credit or debit card takes 2-5 working days due to standard banking procedures, whereas a withdrawal made via EFT takes up to 24 hours.

Should any of your selections not take part in an event and be deemed Void on your bet confirmation, which you can check via your account History, the following rules will apply:

For Singles your stake will be refunded; for Multiples, the bet will stand and be settled on the remaining selections.

For example, if you placed a Treble and one selection is declared Void, the bet will be settled on the remaining two selections as a Double.

Placing A Bet

Once logged in, by clicking on the ‘Price’ tab on any market ie by hovering your cursor over the price tab and clicking on it, your bet slip will appear to the right of the selected market with your added selection.

Two drop down menus will appear in your Bet Slip.

The Single Menu gives you up to 5 options, namely:

WIN (Win Bet)

PLC (Place Bet)

E/W (Each Way Bet)

SP Win (Starting Price Win Bet)

T/Win (Tote Win Bet)

T/Place (Tote Place Bet).

The Mpl Menu (Multiple Menu) gives you up to 5 betting options, namely:

No (No Multiple Bet)

WIN (Win Bet Multiple)

PLC (Place Bet Multiple)

SP Win (Starting Price Win Bet Multiple)

T/Win (Tote Win Bet Multiple)

T/Place (Tote Place Bet Multiple).

Once a bet has been submitted, a Ticket Number & Reference Number will appear in the Betslip.

Click on this Reference to see your Bet confirmation.

Alternatively, you may View your submitted betting transaction by going to ‘My Account’ > ‘Statement’ > ‘Pending Bets’.

You can also request your submitted betting transaction be automatically emailed to you by going to ‘My Account’ > ‘My Account’ > ‘Yes’ to Emails.

To get a fully informed description of your selection, simply click on the information tab.

When placing a Multiple Bet, World Sports Betting allows you to select a series of bets from sports and/or racing and combine them to increase your return.

1 – Choose the Selection/Contestant you wish to bet on.

2 – Click on the ‘Bet Tab’.

3 – Your Selection will appear in the Betslip.

4 – Enter Your ‘Stake’ (The Amount you would like to spend on the bet).

5 – Alternatively, Enter the ‘Pay’ Amount (The Amount you wish to win and your stake will be automatically calculated).

6 – World Sports Betting gives you a stretch price on the ‘Pay’ amount, i.e. if the selection is 8/1 and you opt to win R1000, your stake will be R120 and not R125.

7 – Click The ‘Process Bet’ tab to submit your bet.

1 – Choose the Selections/Contestants you wish to add to your multiple selections by clicking on the ‘Bet Tab’ of each selection. (You may choose up to 30 selections).

2 – Click Mpl ‘Win’ for each selection you wish to add to your multiple selections. (Mpl = Multiple) Mpl ‘Win’ will always be your defaulted selection to allow for quick bet processing.

3 – On certain selections, you may choose a Fixed Win, SP Win, Tote Win (T/Win) or Tote Place (T/Place) in your multiple selections.

4 -Once you have selected more than 1 selection, you will be able to enter your multiple stake amount or pay amount under ‘Multiple Selections’.

5 – You will be presented with several Yankee and Multiple opportunities when selecting up to 7 selections, namely:

(a) Accumulator (1 Bet) – This is the price on ALL your selections winning.

(b) Super Heinz (120 Bets) – This will include all Doubles, Trebles, Four-Folds, Five Folds, Six-Folds & The Accumulator when placing up to 7 selections.

(c) Heinz (57 Bets) – This will include all Doubles, Trebles, Four-Folds, Five Folds & The Accumulator when placing up to 6 selections.

(d) Canadian (26 Bets) – This will include all Doubles, Trebles, Four-Folds & The Accumulator when placing up to 5 selections.

(e) Yankee (11 Bets) – This will include all Doubles, Trebles & The Accumulator when placing up to 4 selections.

(f) Six Folds – This includes all the Six All-To-Come Options available in your multiple and depends on the number of selections.

(g) Five Folds – This includes all the Five All-To-Come Options available in your multiple and depends on the number of selections.

(h) Four Folds – This includes all the Four All-To-Come Options available in your multiple and depends on the number of selections.

(i) Trebles – This includes all the Three All-To-Come Options in your multiple and depends on the number of selections.

(j) Doubles – This includes all the Two All-To-Come Options in your multiple and depends on the number of selections.

Remember when taking a multiple bet, if you choose to enter a Stake value in any of the Single Boxes next to the selections, you will also place Single Bets on the relevant contestants.
