Oriental Charm Triumphs in 2024 Durban July
Brett Crawford celebrated his second straight victory in the prestigious R5 Million Hollywoodbets Durban July as Oriental Charm, his three-year-old colt, delivered a breathtaking performance in the 128th running of the race on Saturday.
Oriental Charm, owned by Greg Bortz, Leon Ellman, and Gina Goldsmith, and masterfully guided by jockey JP van der Merwe, took an early lead and showed great determination to finish first. The colt managed to stave off fierce competition from Cousin Casey, Royal Victory, and Flag Man, who followed in the placings.
