MOROCCO v PORTUGAL
MOROCCO
Morocco are yet to taste defeat in their 2022 World Cup coming through their group with a goalless draw against Croatia and victories over Belgium and Canada. They met Spain in the last 16, a game where they started 5/1 underdogs, but they managed to keep things level and force penalties where they emerged victors.
PORTUGAL
Portugal booked their spot in the last 16 early in their group with victories over Ghana and Uruguay and the defeat to the Republic of Korea in their final match had no real consequence. They faced Switzerland in the last 16 where they started just over 9/10 favourites, but made short work of their opponents winning 6-1.
HEAD-TO-HEAD
These sides met in the World Cup 2018 with Portugal winning 1-0.

Morocco 5/1
Draw 11/4
Portugal 7/10
Suggested Bet: The draw at 11/4
Portugal certainly look like one of the teams to beat, but I am very impressed with Morocco particularly their defence and I think they can keep this one tight and that the 90 minute draw is a big runner here.
Other options which may interest punters are under 2.5 goals trading at 7/10 and you can get both teams to score, NO, at 8/11. The 0-0 correct score line is priced at 15/2 with the favourite in that market being a Portugal 1-0 win priced at 9/2.
ENGLAND v FRANCE
ENGLAND
England have had 3 wins and a draw in their 4 matches having begun their campaign with a 6-2 hammering of Iran in the group stages. They then played out a goalless draw against the USA and beat Wales 3-0. They were very impressive in their last 16 match where they weathered some early Senegal pressure to win 3-0 in a game where they started 6/10 favourites.
FRANCE
France did the business early winning their first two games against Australia and Denmark before fielding a much changed team and losing 1-0 to Tunisia in their final group game. They then started 4/10 favourites against Poland and duly obliged with a 3-1 victory.
HEAD-TO-HEAD
These sides last met in a friendly in 2017 with France winning 3-2 and the last time they met in a tournament was in EURO 2012 when the game finished 1-1.

England 85/40
Draw 23/10
France 15/10
Suggested Bet: France win at 15/10
Both of these sides have played some great football and I have been particularly impressed with the way England have closed their opponents down and robbed them of space at times. France though look to have so much quality across the park but particularly in front of goal and I think they could edge it in the 90 minutes. I don’t think we are going to get a lot of goals in this one and a correct score like that appeals is France 1-0 at 13/2.
