The final round of Group D World Cup matches takes place on Wednesday and we take a look at the two games from a betting angle.
France top Group D with 6 points and they are guaranteed a spot in the last 16, Australia are second on 3 points and Denmark and Tunisia are both on a point each. France understandably very short at 1/1000 to top the group, but the race for second is certainly going to be interesting.

AUSTRALIA v DENMARK
AUSTRALIA
Australia took the lead against France in their opener before been beaten 4-1, but they bounced back excellently with a 1-0 victory over Tunisia in their second match with the winner coming in the 23rd minute. Australia know that a win against Denmark will see them through to the last 16. If they draw they will have to hope that Tunisia don’t beat France and end up with a better goal difference than them, in all likelihood a draw will send them through.
DENMARK
Denmark should qualify if they beat Australia although there is a small chance that Tunisia could beat France and finish with a better goal difference. Denmark opened their campaign with a goalless draw against Tunisia and they were then beaten 2-1 by France with all 3 goals in that match coming in the last 30 minutes.

Australia 6/1
Draw 33/10
Denmark 5/10
Suggested Bet: Under 2.5 goals at 10/11
I think Australia are going to take the view that a point will see them through to the last 16 and I am expecting a defensive approach and as long as we don’t get an early goal this should hopefully result in a low scoring match.

TUNISIA v FRANCE
TUNISIA
Tunisia went down 1-0 to Australia in their last game, a disappointing result given they started as 12/10 favourites. They played out a goalless draw against Denmark in their opener game in which they were big underdogs. Tunisia will need Australia not to beat Denmark and they will have to beat France and rely on goal difference to get them through to the last 16.
FRANCE
France are under no such pressure and have a 100% record after they had a 4-1 opening win over Australia and a 2-1 win over Denmark.
HEAD-TO-HEAD
These sides have not met since a friendly international in 2010 which finished 1-1.

Tunisia 6/1
Draw 33/10
France 5/10
Suggested Bet: Over 2.5 goals at 10/11
Tunisia are going to have to throw everything into an attack to beat France and I think this is going to really open the game up. We have already seen that France have a hot attack, but they also tend to concede and I really like the chances of 3 goals or more in this one.
