The second round of Group C matches takes place on Saturday and with Saudi Arabia having stunned Argentina in matchday 1 this group is very interestingly poised indeed.
Argentina’s loss to Saudi Arabia has seen them drift from 33/10 to 17/2 in the Outright Betting and Mexico are next best in this group at 100/1. Poland opened their campaign with a somewhat disappointing goalless draw against Mexico. It was a game where the Polish never really looked to be at their best and they will certainly have to up their game against this Saudi Arabian side.
SAUDI ARABIA
Saudi Arabia went 1-0 down against Argentina and smart money would have been on the South American side drawing clear to win comfortably. The Saudi’s had other ideas though and came back to win the match 2-1 and stories from overseas emerged of money been matched on Saudi Arabia to win at 1000/1 in play.

Saudi Arabia caught everyone off guard with their victory over Argentina and the way they kept the Argentines out in the final 20 or so minutes really impressed me. I think there is a lot more to come from this side and that bookmakers are once again under-estimating them against a Poland side which didn’t look particularly impressive in their opener. I am going for an upset win here.

As mentioned above Argentina are still favourites to win the Group, but bookmakers are banking on them taking 6 points against Mexico and Poland. They were rocked to their core by the Saudi Arabia side that came from 1-0 down to win the match 2-1 and the Saudi’s were almost 30/1 at the start of the match.
MEXICO
Mexico started slight favourites against Poland, but failed to find the back of the net and the teams played out one of the more disappointing 0-0 draws of the Tournament. Mexico would be more than happy to take a point out of this game and have everything come down to their final match against Saudi Arabia.
