Eintracht Frankfurt v Napoli – Click here to bet
Eintracht Frankfurt finished 2nd in their group with 3 victories, 2 losses and a draw. Their home form was patchy with a 3-0 loss to Sporting, a goalless draw at Tottenham and a 2-1 victory over Marseille. They were in good form in the League on the weekend beating Werder Bremen 2-0 at home.
Napoli finished top of their group winning 5 and losing just 1 match. That match came in their final game away at Liverpool where they went down 2-0. Their other away games were 3-0 victory over Rangers and a 6-1 win over Ajax. Napoli have been in excellent form in the League and they have won their last 5 in a row including beating Sassuolo 2-0 away on the weekend.
These sides last met in the UEFA Cup in 1994 so there is no recent head-to-head form to go on.
Napoli’s defence was very strong in the group stages and I think we could have quite a tight encounter here. If pushed I would go for a Napoli win at 23/20, but the bet I prefer here is under 2.5 goals.
Suggested Bet: Under 2.5 goals at 11/10

Liverpool v Real Madrid – Click here to bet
Liverpool finished 2nd in their group behind Napoli winning 5 and losing 1 of their matches. That loss came away to Napoli, but they had a 100% record at home beating Ajax 2-1, Rangers 2-0 and Napoli 2-0. Liverpool have been inconsistent in the League, but they have won their last 2 matches by 2-0 margins over Everton at home and Newcastle on the road.
Real Madrid topped their group with 4 victories, a draw and a loss. On the road in the group stages they beat Celtic 3-0, drew 1-1 with Shakhtar Donetsk and lost 3-2 on the road to Leipzig. They have won their last two League matches including beating Osasuna 2-0 on the road on the weekend.
These sides met in the final of last year’s Champions league with Real Madrid winning 1-0. Their last 6 Champions League match encounters, Real Madrid have won 5 and there has been 1 draw. Liverpool’s last win over Real Madrid came back in the 2009 season.
Liverpool appear to have hit form at the right time and should get the win here, but once again I am leaning towards the under 2.5 goals which looks generously priced as I expect a tight game with defence dominating.
Suggested Bet: Under 2.5 goals at 23/20
