The Stormers host Munster at the Cape Town Stadium in Saturday’s URC Final and we take a look at the game from a betting angle.
STORMERS
The Stormers finished 3rd on the URC log and had resigned themselves to travelling for the Final only for Munster to upset Leinster two weeks ago, meaning the final is played in to Cape Town.
The Stormers were at home to the Bulls in their quarter-final clash and they came through that one 33-21 with the visitors probably flattered by the score line. They then hosted Irish side, Connacht in the semi-finals getting up for a 43-25 win as the game was in the balance with 10 minutes to go before a couple of late Stormers tries sealed the deal.
MUNSTER
Munster were 5th on the log and they were away to Glasgow in their quarter-final getting the better of the Scottish team 14-5 in a low scoring encounter. Their semi-final was away at Leinster where they were trading as 14 point underdogs before Leinster team news saw them start 9 point underdogs. Munster turned in a typical gutsy display to make light work of the handicap and to win the match 16-15 and book their trip to Cape Town.
These sides met in Cape Town in the penultimate round of URC action with Munster stunning the Stormers to win 26-24.

I think this is going to be a very tense and tight final and if you enjoy a speculative play a bit of 25/1 the draw could pay rich dividends. Munster are the type of side who seem to be designed for knock-out rugby and I think they are going to turn this one into quite a scrap. I will stop short of backing them to win the game, but I believe they will beat the handicap.
