South Africa will be looking to wrap up the series when they take on England in the 2nd ODI in Bloemfontein on Sunday and we take a look at the game from a betting angle.
SOUTH AFRICA
The Proteas went into the 1st ODI in Bloemfontein on Friday as underdogs and after winning the toss they decided to bat first. De Kock and Bavuma got the South Africans off to a solid enough start, but there was always a nagging concern that they were going a little bit too slowly early on. Rassie van der Dussen top scored with 111 off 117 balls and David Miller weighed in with 53 off 56 balls towards the tail end of the innings and the Proteas reached 298 for 7, a decent score, but certainly not guaranteed of winning the match.
For the English, Sam Curran was the pick of the bowlers with his 3 wickets for 35 runs in 9 overs, not only getting the most wickets in the innings, but also been the most economical bowler.
ENGLAND
England started off superbly and they put on a 146 for the first wicket before Dawid Malan went out for 59 off 55 balls. At this stage it really looked like one-way traffic and when Jason Roy went to his century there were a few who would have given the Proteas a chance. Roy ultimately went out for 113 off 91 balls and the Proteas bowlers then got stuck into the English batting line-up with only Jos Buttler with 36 off 42 balls providing any real resistance in the middle of the innings. The English finished on 271 all out with over 5 overs to spare.
Anrich Nortje delivered our Top Bowler pick with his 4 for 62 off 10 overs and Rabada with 2 for 46 off 10 was also impressive while Magala weighed in with 3 for 46 off his 9 overs.
Overall a good team effort from the Proteas and they will be hopeful of following it up and taking an unassailable 2-0 Series lead.

South Africa 23/20
England 4/6
Suggested Bet: South Africa win at 23/20
We were on South Africa at a bigger price in the 1st ODI and although things looked bleak for long periods it was the quality bowling line-up that came to the party. I think the English confidence would have taken a knock after that game and I am hoping South Africa can put the hammer down and grab the Series.
Suggested Bet: Top South Africa Bowler, Anrich Nortje at 22/10
He has been a regular pick of mine both in the SA T20 League as well as the 1st ODI. Nortje is bowling with serious fire and pace and although he wasn’t the most economical bowler in the 1st ODI he is almost always amongst the wickets.
Suggested Bet: South African Top Batsman, Temba Bavuma at 3/1
The Skipper showed plenty of quality in his innings on Friday scoring at more than a run a ball and I am hoping he can anchor this innings while others bat around him.
