The Six Nations continue this weekend and bookies are expecting some close matches. We take a look at all 3 games from a betting angle.
Let’s start with a look at the Outright Betting where Ireland are trading very short at 1/10 to win the title, with Scotland 10/1 and you can get 20/1 France and 30/1 England. Ireland are 4/7 to win the Grand Slam and Italy are 8/10 to finish bottom.

SATURDAY
Italy v Wales – Click here to bet
Italy have lost all three matches to date, but there has certainly been a big improvement and they have beaten the handicap set by the bookmakers in each match. Last time out they lost 34-20 at home to Ireland and the other home match was a 5 point defeat by the French.
Wales went down 20-10 to England at home last time out and they have also lost all three matches to date. Their only away match of the campaign was at Scotland where they were in touch early before getting well beaten 35-7 and they are now the only team without a log point to their credit.
Handicap: Italy +1.5
This should be an incredible close and tight encounter and I don’t think either team will run away with it. I am going for the winning margin to be no more than 6 points.
Suggested Bet: Tri Bet, Any Other Result at 31/20

England v France – Click here to bet
England were beaten at home by Scotland in the opening match, but they have bounced back with victories away at Wales and at home to Italy. They beat the handicap against the Welsh last time out starting 6 point favourites and winning by 10, but they started 20 point favourites against Italy at home and only won by 17.
The French were involved in an absolute classic against Scotland last time out, both teams getting early red cards and the French eventually scoring a last minute try to get a bonus point win 32-21. They were coming off a comprehensive defeat to Ireland in Dublin where they went down 32-19 and they had opened their campaign with a less than impressive 29-24 win over the Italians.
Handicap: England +1.5
France haven’t won at Twickenham in ages and while they haven’t truly fired to date I am not convinced by this England team and I think we are looking at an away win.
Suggested Bet: France win at 15/20
SUNDAY
Scotland v Ireland – Click here to bet
Scotland played their part in an absolutely cracking encounter with France two weeks ago eventually going down 32-21. They had beaten Wales by 28 points at Murrayfield in Round 2 and in Round 1 they were big underdogs against England, but got the win 29-23.
Ireland have won all 3 of their matches and all of those have come with bonus points. Last time out they were made to battle to beat Italy 34-20 in Rome, but the big game was at home against the French in Round 2 where they triumphed 32-19 after a fast start. They were also quickly out the blocks away to Wales in Round 1 where they won 34-10.
Ireland have won their last 7 matches against Scotland in the Six Nations and last time out at Murrayfield they sneaked it 27-24.
Handicap: Scotland +6.5
This could end up being a tight game, but Ireland have been incredibly quick out of the blocks and I am taking them to lead by 4 points or more at the break.
Suggested Bet: First-Half Handicap, Ireland -3.5 at 19/20
