The Misano World Circuit is the venue for this weekend’s San Marino MotoGP and we take a look at the race from a betting angle.
CHAMPIONSHIP UPDATE
Aleix Espargaro beat home his teammate Maverick Vinales in the Catalan Grand Prix last weekend with Jorge Martin completing the podium ensuring a clean sweep for Spanish riders.
We had hoped for a big ride from Marc Marquez, but unfortunately he could only finish 13th. Maverick Vinales got the fastest lap and pole position went to Francesco Bagnaia after a bad crash in the first couple of circuits which saw the race restarted.
Bagnaia still has a 50 point lead at the top of the table from Jorge Martin with Bezzecchi 21 points further back in 3rd. Bagnaia is a 1/16 favourite to win the Title.

VERDICT
Bagnaia will race this weekend, but he may be a bit tentative after his big crash and Bezzecchi is the market leader here at 5/2. Brad Binder unfortunately had to retire last weekend, but prior to that he was in good form and at 16/1 he rates a patriotic punt this weekend
Suggested Bet: Brand Binder win at 16/1
The market that I haven’t played for some time is the Winning Margin where 3 seconds or higher is trading at even money. Last year 1st and 2nd was separated by just 0.034 seconds and I am going to bet that we have another close one.
Suggested Bet: Winning Margin 0.000 – 0.500 at 7/2
