MOROCCO v SPAIN
MOROCCO
Morocco topped Group F with 7 points from their 3 matches. They started with a goalless draw against Croatia before stunning Belgium 2-0, a result which could have been backed at 7/2 and then beating Canada 2-1 in their final match.
SPAIN
Spain finished second in their group behind Japan after losing 2-1 to the Japanese in their final game. They had previously drawn 1-1 with Germany and beat Costa Rica 7-0 to open their campaign.
HEAD-TO-HEAD
These sides met in the World Cup in 2018 in the group stages and the match finished 2-2.

Morocco 11/2
Draw 28/10
Spain 6/10
Suggested Bet: The draw at 28/10
I identified Morocco as a team that could go deep prior to the tournament starting and they are probably a bit unlucky to be meeting Spain at this stage of the tournament given that they topped their group. That being said I think they are well capable of giving the Spanish a run for their money and perhaps even pulling off an upset victory. For me though the value here lies in the draw at just shy of 3/1.
PORTUGAL v SWITZERLAND
PORTUGAL
Portugal finished top of their group on 6 points with the hard work done in the opening 2 games when they beat Ghana 3-2 and Uruguay 2-0. They went down 2-1 to the Republic of Korea in their final match, but that was of academic importance to them although very important to the balance of the group.
SWITZERLAND
Switzerland finished level on points with Brazil but behind on goal difference in Group G with 2 wins and 1 loss. They had begun with a 1-0 victory over Cameroon before a 1-0 loss to Brazil and then played their part in a thrilling 3-2 victory over Serbia to book their spot in the last 16. The half-time score was 2-2 at half-time with Switzerland initially having gone ahead only to come behind to score the equaliser. They got the winner shortly after the half-time break.
HEAD-TO-HEAD
These sides have met in 2022 in the UEFA Nations League with Switzerland winning 1-0 at home and Portugal winning 4-0 in the game that they hosted.

Portugal 19/20
Draw 12/5
Switzerland 33/10
Suggested Bet: Portugal win at 19/20
I have been impressed by Portugal and although I think Switzerland could give them a good run for their money I think they are going to have enough to shade it in the 90 minutes.
Other markets of interest for punters could be under 2.5 goals which is currently trading as 6/10 just a bit short for my pocket and you can get both teams to score, NO, at 15/20.
