MANCHESTER UNITED
Manchester United finished 3rd on the log last season finishing with 4 successive victories. They have played a host of friendly matches in the lead-up to the EPL season, most recently drawing 1-1 with Athletic Bilbao, and prior to that they beat Lens 3-1.
WOLVES
Wolves finished 13th on the table last season winning only once in their last 5 matches. Their most recent warm-up game was against Rennes which they won 3-1 and they also played out a goalless draw to Luton before that.
HEAD-TO-HEAD
Manchester United won this fixture 2-0 last season and they also beat Wolves 1-0 away from home. 7 of the last 8 meetings between the sides have finished with 2 goals or less in them.

Manchester United 3/10
Draw 5/1
Wolves 9/1
I am expecting United to get their season started with 3 points, but Wolves have a habit of frustrating them and I don’t think it is going to be a runaway win. The value play for me here is under 2.5 goals at 11/8 as I expect Wolves to set out their stall defensively to frustrate United.
I am also going to go for a correct score playoff Manchester United to repeat last season’s 2-0 victory.
Suggested Bet: Under 2.5 goals at 11/8
Suggested Bet: Correct Score, Manchester United 2-0 at 5/1
There are plenty of other markets on offer including First Goal Scorer where Marcus Rashford is trading as a 33/10 favourite. There will also be in-running betting available.
