FRANCE
France booked their spot in the last 4 with a thrilling 2-1 victory over England in the quarter-finals. The French largely dominated the first-half and took a one goal to nil lead into the break, but England hit back with a 54th minute equaliser from the penalty spot and from that point on France appeared to be on the back foot. Olivier Giroud popped up though with a 78th minute header to take them the lead and when Harry Kane fired his spot kick over the bar with just minutes remaining France were able to hold on for the victory.
France had opened their campaign with a 4-2 win over Australia and followed that up with a 2-1 win over Denmark. They had already qualified for the last 16 when they played their final group match against Tunisia losing 1-0. In the last 16 France beat Poland 3-1.
MOROCCO
Morocco beat Portugal 1-0 in their quarter-final having started the match 11/2 underdogs. They took the lead shortly before half-time and their defence held firm to see them into the last 4.
Morocco opened their World Cup with a goalless draw against Croatia before a 2-0 victory over Belgium and a 2-1 win over Canada saw them into the last 16. There they started underdogs against Spain, but with neither side able to find the back of the net, Morocco were able to advance on penalties.
Morocco have only conceded 1 goal in this World Cup and that was against Canada and was an own goal.
HEAD-TO-HEAD
These sides met in a friendly International in 2017 with the final score 2-2.

France 8/15
Draw 3/1
Morocco 13/2
Suggested Bet: Over 2.5 goals at 13/10
We are getting a nice price on this for two reasons, firstly this is knock-out football and most of the games have been low scoring and secondly Morocco’s defence has been very strong.
Goals have tended to flow in French games though and 1 goal, particularly if the French score first, will change this match as the other team would have to chase the game. I think there is some value at this price.
Looking at the first Goal Scorer Market, Kylian Mbappe is currently trading as the favourite at 33/10 with Olivier Giroud 9/2. There are loads of other Betting Markets for punters to sink their teeth in to.
