The FA Cup 3rd Round takes place this weekend with the bigger teams joining the lower League sides with all of them aiming to get to Wembley and lift the Trophy.
Let’s start with a look at the Outright Betting where Manchester City are trading as 33/10 favourites ahead of Liverpool at 6/1, Arsenal 7/1, Tottenham 8/1, Manchester United 10/1 and you can get 12/1 and better the balance.

FRIDAY
Manchester United v Everton – Click here to bet
Manchester United are currently sitting 4th in the English Premier League and they have won their last 4 matches in a row. They face Everton who have slipped into the relegation zone and have only taken 1 point from the last 15 they have played for.
These sides last met in the FA Cup in the 2015/16 season when United beat Everton 2-1 in the semi-finals.
The FA Cup has become a tricky tournament to bet on because in the early stages a lot of the teams are distracted by other goals and can sometimes field weakened sides. Manchester United are in a good run of form in the EPL, but realistically they know the title is beyond them. I think they are going to throw everything into the FA Cup and I am backing them to beat an Everton side that is very much focusing on the relegation battle at hand. The 9/20 odds are too short for my pocket so I am going to back United to win this one by more than a goal
Suggested Bet: Handicap, Manchester United -1.5 goals at 5/4

SATURDAY
Brentford v West Ham – Click here to bet
Brentford are going very well in the English Premier League and they are currently 9th on the table with 3 wins and 2 draws in their last 5 starts. They face a West Ham side that has only taken 1 point from the last 15 they have played for, that been in their last match where they drew 2-2 at Leeds.
These sides have never met in the FA Cup before and when they met in the League earlier this season it was Brentford who won 2-0 on the road. Brentford have had an excellent season and we love nothing better than a deep Cup run to treat their fans, while on the other hand West Ham are certainly involved in the relegation battle. I am more than happy to back Brentford at current prices.
Suggested Bet: Brentford win at 31/20
Liverpool v Wolves – Click here to bet
Liverpool were going well in the League until they were stunned 3-1 by Brentford away in their last match and they currently sit 6th on the table and they face a Wolves side that is still very much in the relegation zone, 2nd from bottom of the table with only 1 win in their last 5 games.
These sides last met in the FA Cup back in 2019 where Wolves beat Liverpool 2-1 at home in the 3rd Round. Liverpool should pack too many guns for Wolves especially at home, but they are involved in the top 4 battle as well as the Champions League and I don’t think this is going to be a fluent victory and I am tempted by the under 2.5 goal price.
Suggested Bet: Under 2.5 goals at 11/8
SUNDAY
Manchester City v Chelsea – Click here to bet
These sides met in the EPL on Thursday night with Manchester City grabbing the only goal in the 63rd minute through Riyad Mahrez.
Manchester City now have home ground advantage and having opened their league campaign with 7 straight home wins their form has dipped and they have dropped 5 points in their last 2 home games including a shock defeat to Brentford.
Chelsea have slipped to 10th on the table after 2 defeats in 3 matches and on the road they have drawn 2 and lost 2 of their last 4 games.
Chelsea’s hopes of a strong league finish look done whereas City are battling for the title and this is the reason I think Chelsea could surprise here. I think they may be the team that wants this more and I am betting on an upset.
Suggested Bet: Chelsea win at 15/2
